Although I don't believe this was my top pick, it is a good start. My concern is that it gives a perception that this group/organization is only made up of breeders (even though you did state that this wasn't going to be the case). Since many herp conservation initiatives don't involve captive breeding, but rather land management, I was concerned that this "name" would seem too exclusive thus limiting the amount of potential support and participation that could come from various conservation efforts relating to Drymarchon. But as you said, this initiative was started by indigo breeders so taking a little ownership in the name seems deserved. So what happens next?
:And the winner is:
:Choice # 7: Indigo Snake Breeders' Conservation Alliance (IBCA)
:It was pretty close between # 6 and 7...but 7 was leading by four votes and I think it's time to put this in the books.
:It was noted that we will need to make sure that folks don't think you HAVE to breed indigos to be involved. On the flip side though, it's a good thing that the name advertises the fact that the group was founded by breeders of Drymarchon.
:More to come on the group...donatees...etc.
