Hey Freight...just notcing you never did get a reply on the size of Spilotes. Mine are VERY difficult to measure, but are in the
9-10' range. Maybe longer. Whenever you measure an adult Spilotes, then seem to end up longer than you estimated....b/c they are so "lanky" .They are much less heavily built than Drymarchon. My guess is that a healthy 8' Spilotes probably weighs about half of a healthly 8' Dry.
Heck...the TAILS on my spilotes are about 2' !
I'll try to get some weights for you...

PS: I have a cb' 02 baby I held back and she's already about 5'!
I'm not even pushing her. She's just very long and lean.
