Alan Toon was a committee member of the International Herpetological Society, based in the UK. This society has no connection with the similarly named symposiums held annually in the USA.

: His name is either Alan or Alain Toon. He is a committee member of the IHS. Mr. Toon was kind enough to send me a letter and a complimentary copy of the IHS journal. In his letter, he spells his name Alain, but in the journal it is spelled Alan.

: I emailed him once, which is why he sent the letter, but I did not keep his email addy, not knowing at the time that he was an IHS committee member.

: Thanks in advance for any help.
