I am looking forward to seeing all my friends again atIHS. Being a long time attendee, I can say that I am looking forward to this years meeting even more then I ever have any other. The list of speakers is fantastic, the topics are fresh, and establish a real trend back to our roots, captive husbandry and managment of reptiles and ampibians. We will have a new proccedings on line too, for all of us that have missed it so much, me included. Papers all day, food in the evening, and Burbon St. all night, what more could you wish for? I will try to get extra sleep before attending, 'cause I know I won't sleep there. And I promise a good auction this year too, and I'll attempt to be as funny as possible again this year, just don't throw rocks at me this time. I look forward to seeing everybody there this year, and in Detroit in 2001 for some more fun times. And to all you old folks out there like me, please encourage a younger herper to attend this year, perhaps we can show them there is more to herpetology then a swap meet. Thanks, Ken Foose
