really, just a plain old healthy diet + healthy environment will do that! *grin*
when iZ moved in with me, he was shades of brown + grey ~ even his black stripes were grey ... (ok ~ so they weren't BLACK stripes then, but ya know what i mean?? *grin*)
getting rid of all the parasites he had, getting him some good food and a warm, humid enclosure made a HUGE difference ~ 6 mo. later, he didn't look like the same ig ...
oh, speaking of parasites ~ can't remember if any of us mentioned that??? baby igs are like puppies + kittens, it's pretty much guaranteed that they have worms and they need to be treated ... that will also make a HUGE difference in your ig's overall health ~ which makes a big difference in it's overall coloring ... (take a fresh poop sample to the vet's with you ... )
