You are correct. My lizard is a desert iguana [Dipsosaurus dorsalis], which I realize is not very similar to greens. I posted the question here because green iquana keeping is one of the most technologically advanced branches of the hobby. I figured if anybody'd know, it'd be you guys.
You are also correct that desert igs are omnivorous, feeding on both plants and animals. It is my feeling that vegetable matter is the more important part of its diet. As much as he likes crickets, you need only watch him try to catch one to realize he's not a successful preditor by nature. Thanks again for the input.
