I know exactly how you feel. I rescued three baby iguanas from a pet store and I was so traumatised when one of them went into convulsions and died in my hands. I'm still not over losing those three iguanas, but I take comfort in knowing that they're probably in that little basking spot in the sky, reminiscing about their last few hours with someone who cared for them.
