You're right about that but I assume I'm not the only one multi-animaled and there's plenty of animal stuff there. (Is multi-animaled a word? LOL) Anyways, thanks for the new link! Has that dandelion misting & tea done any good? Does your vet approve? Mine have shown a lot of change since I read your stuff on uric acid & kidney damage being related possibly to lack of water/moisture. I've increased spraying them down since they don't like baths/soaks and have been heavily misting their sleeping enclosures in the a.m. while they are waking for the day. I've also been misting their food just prior to feeding them & again if there's any leftover on the dishes during the day. What HAD been happening with the male was lots of mornings he'd wake up and start this "smacking" motion with his mouth and you could see he had "gunk" in there. He's never been a big water drinker altho I knew this to be part of the problem. It's been a looong time now since he's done that since I've started using some of your techniques to build up moisture for him. Our female had been waking some mornings looking a little "pee-ked" around the eyes. Not truly sunken in but not quite fleshy? That has changed now, too.

I know this is long...but I also think YOU need to know that the things you have been reporting on and sharing with all of us are making a difference somewhere! You've helped a lot of people...even some of us old-timers &/or experienced keepers. Pat yourself on the back & have a few chocolate-covered strawberries!
