I would be careful with it. Depends on what kind of net you are using. If it's a thick rope net it shouldn't be a problem. But if it's a thin net you really have to stretch it tightly or it may capture the iguana in some way. We used a thin net once on ruffed lemur babies, and one of them climbed it and turned around and was trapped.He screemed and the mother tried to free him with the result that she actually broke his arm. The other thing was that the net stopped the blood which caused the ar to swell. Luckily we saw it in time before the arm died and consequently would have been forced to be amputated. But if it is stretched properly and it thick enough it would suit it's purpose, i guess.
