nail clipping... and a cute story

Today for the first time I clipped Spot's nails on my own. (Before I took him to my boss) It went great. He just sat there on a crate will I snipped them. I don't think I cut as short as I could have but I didn't want to take any chances. lol
I just had this horrid image of cutting off his toe. The whole time he just looked at me like "i know she's doing something but it doesn't hurt so i'll deal with it."

Oh the cute story. I had spot outside today for about an hour or so. It was kinda hot so I was misting him a lot. He didn't seem to mind. Well the little bottle got empty so I asked my dad to keep an eye on him for a moment while I went inside to fill the bottle up and grab him some greens to munch on.
When I came back outside my dad said it looked like spot was looking for me. He kept looking at the chair I was sitting in and then at the door and then back to the chair. He settled back down when I sat down next to him again. Cute huh? I guess that means he really knows me now. :)
Ok, I'll stop now.
