Maybe I should've called him Jose Wales, lol. any way, just posting progress, today, he let me trim his dis-embowelers... I mean... claws. And I didnt have to use the towel method! He did resort to the "If i close my eyes, youre not there" thing, and he tried to whip... OK, he DID whip, but just a little...OK, OK, I was found un-concious on the floor, but this is still a break through, I stood my ground, and didnt give up, hopefully after 4 or 5 decades of this, he will realize I mean him no harm, after I got his Sitars down to daggers, i got him out, and after a little croc-rolling, he soon found himself safely on my back, (safely for him, I had no idea iguanas were trained in the lost art of scalping) where he stayed without incident, until he had enough and as I walked by his cage, he dove... no... flew,(it must be the shoes) back into it, tonight i will put an old shirt in there, and will try to repeat the "Iguana mistakes Texas man for horse" incident all over again. All this trouble, and then I see pics of y'all with your baybies and I go "some day,Shemp, some day..."
