Probably the number one reason for "getting rid of an iguana" is: its too big. Sad isn't it when you see the ads. Personally, I'd like to slap these people up side the head (not really), but it makes my blood boil. Of course, there are many other reasons for people trying to find homes for their igs and some are legitimate (reasons). Again, I would encourage everyone to either get involved in iguana rescue even if you don't have room for aother one (like us). You'd be surprised on the "network" of people you can link up with who are willing to try and find homes (or take another iguana in) for these wonderful creatures.
