Here's a piccie of Vega$ with her nose in the camera.

You can notice the irregular scale texture and patterning between her nostril and eye. About 4-6 months ago, she was caged (open cage with vertical metal bars) at the vet for a day (drop-off vet visit). Vega$ despises cages but I needed her seen that day. She rubbed off the scales, down to the flesh. I cleaned her off with betadine and applied triple-antibiotic ointment on it. This photo shows the resulting healing done so far. No telling if she will regain her normal texture and scale patterns, over the next sets of sheds or so. She's still beautiful to me :)
