Ensure Liquid Nutritional Supplement

I just checked at another board and Alta Brewer was recommending someone give their Ig... Ensure or Ensure plus with mashed bananas to put more calories in him. Ive never heard of this before. Have you? I wish I could ask about it at IML put haven't quite figured out how to post there :o( I have thought about it cuz at work we have "health shakes" more like Sustacal tho I could get for free. There is *no* dairy product in it at all. Lots of vitamins & minerals and high protein (which Im kind of giving Feo right now alot more tofu,alfalfa hay what with his surgery) . He seems like he's lost so much weight after the surgery.But he's eating like a pig even an hour after we got him home from the surgery he ate!! so I can't figure out why I can't get meat on his bones. Maybe it just takes time? If you hear anything let me know please...yet another thing to read about!
