Lizard Sitter Story

HD and I were out of town part of last week. Our lizard sitter is a co-worker of mine. Needless to say, when I returned to work yesterday, she came over to my office and had a little story to tell me....

When she arrived at our house the first morning, she went about the iguanas normal routine. Harry, who is usually a chow hound, only stared at her after she clamped his food dish to his cage. She continued to talk softly to him while he cocked his head at her and gave her the "ig stare". After about 10 minutes of this "stare down", he hopped off his limb, walked over to his dish, got on his tippy toes (rear legs) and let loose of some good old lizard gas for her and began to eat his breakfast!

Needless to say, as any mom would, I was somewhat embarrassed by my son's actions. The only thing I could say to her was "He is all boy." Of course, when I retold this story to HD last night, the look of pride on his face was priceless. LOL
