I was holding Tak the other day when I saw this tiny red thing running along my hand. Ick *shiver*. I'm assuming it was a mite, although I'm not really sure what they look like. I'm worried now though. Is it possible that she's had them (it) the entire time I've had her and I've just seen it now? Or could she have just got them? I put her in the bath tub without the bath mat so I could see if there were anymore that came off, but I didn't see any more. Could there have been just one? Could she have got it from being outside? I practically sterilized her cage, but it's so hard to clean the wood that's in it and the carpet. Any ideas and suggestions on how to get rid of them, and if I even should worry?
Well I had to trim her nails again today. I let them go for too long and boy were they getting sharp! I figured that since I was working at a mental hospital, coming to work with what looks like suicide attempts along my arms isn't such a good idea. *grin*
Tak and I don't seem to be getting anywhere. She is still plotting my death. Any suggestions? I've tried putting something in her cage with my smell on it, something with my smell and her smell on it. I've tried tiring her out before I pick her up (I let her run around the bathroom or the living room on her leash). Is there a point were they sort of out grow being all hyper and high strung?
We recently got a ficus tree, and she loves to spend time in that. She's eating well. Oh and here's a poop story for you all, since I've been gone for a while. I do know that deep down she loves me, cause she left me a little poop shaped like a heart on the bottom of her cage. *grin*
Well hopefully soon I will have some new pics to show off.
