Someone had asked about this re their bearded dragon. I posted to the Iguana Mailing List and received an answer tonight:

"Curcubita (squash) leaves are high in saponins and so toxic when ingested..."

I'm passing the word regarding this in case you gardeners out there are thinking of using the whole squash plant for feeding purposes.
