hmmm......knot on her jaw pretty sure it isn't a symptom of MBD? it could be so many things...need a vet referral?
I'll give you two national links...call around for decent prices...ask for:
office visit cost
fecal float cost
reptile panel costs
then...check her mouth make sure it isn't stomatitus...look for food stuck or cheesy deposits along teethline and inside lip Get a Qtip and scrape any gunk you find out of the inside of her mouth. Its on the lower jaw right..it could be a bacterial infection/abcess that reoccurs over and over The vet will lance it by needle aspiration and suck out the poison put her on anti/bs. If her lower jaw is sticking out....where there is not a good solid seal all the way around...but if looking down onto her you can see the pink flesh of inside of her mouth....you need to get a pencil with an eraser and gently poke around the lower jaw...and if its "rubbery" not hard bony jawline...then its more like MBD. The vet may cut it open along the scales but its just fibrous flesh. the beginning of MBD and bone breaking down...it can be stopped and cured if its MD...with good diet and proper husbandry. Post back ...this is super interesting to me...
Here are the vets sites...good luck Michael!
