If you haven't looked at this yet, you might want to read thru it. Lots of people have offered very good advice on how to find a missing iguana. The one thing that this site offers that I had not thought of was that your iguana may no longer be a bright green and that's why you're not seeing him.
Have you managed to enlist any helpers? Call in the friends, relatives, etc. etc. We lost our female once for just a couple of hours. We looked every where, alerted the neighbors, etc. etc. We were sitting out on the back steps of the patio bemoaning our loss when I saw just a bit of movement.."is that her?" "Where?" "Over there,,,on that pile of grass cuttings. Sssh" "Gosh, it is" She had blended in so perfectly if she hadn't moved we probably wouldn't have seen her. She was maybe 12 feet from where she had run off from and in all likelihood had been there the whole time we were looking for her. Our male took off once, too. Found him! He had gone under the fence to the neighbor's yard. What he didn't know was that running under where he did he ran smack under an overturned/leaning canoe! It was dark so he just went to sleep! With this in mind you might try looking under things, too. Doesn't have to be a wide gap for them to "skooch" under something.
Continuing to think about you and worry with you. Hope this helps.
