yes he very well could survive these temps. my iguana, petrie survived low temps (in the 50`s) for about 2 months before i took him from his previous owner. petrie is just now reaching 2 yrs of age, so he was quite young when he was enduring these temps as well. i have not read your post yet, so i don`t know the age of your iguana, but i would say he has a pretty good chance of living. i also remember a guy who told me his stiry about his iguanas surviving 35-40 temps for a night and they lived as well. i hope you find him. good luck

: No doubt he could survive! I had a friend who carried an iguana on his bake while riding his bike in 30 degree weather for 3 miles, im sure an iguana could survive 52 degrees for much longer, im sure you already thought of this, but is there anyway you could get on a ladder next to the tree thathe was by when he escaped? Even a short one could give you a better view, (he could be one foot out of your site), I WISH I COULD BE THERE TO HELP YOU LOOK, and just because you didnt find him tonight, or even a week from tonight,KEEP AN EYE OUT, I know this is not the same as outside, but when i was a kid, i lost 2 fence lizards in my house,i looked and looked and gave them up for dead, we had 5 inside cats,i found BOTH lizards alive and well, over 1 YEAR LATER! dont think 1 night is all he could survive! fingers are crossed, Shemp
