Oh Glenda...forget that other vet (surgeon) makes me so mad! He wrote me a letter saying I wasn't welcome at his hospital.....lol *as if* he said I was being ungrateful after he did such a delicate and skillful job on Feo! No accountability whatsoever I wish I could sue!...I can't add his name to the herp blacklist because he *did* do a terrific job. Its the people in his office mostly that denied they broke his tail..Anyway....my regular herp vet wanted to charge me $50.oo (amputation, dressing, and anti/b injection) then the $20.oo office visit.Im like how tuff can this be? I remembered Henry Lizardlover and MK getting into it(as usual) on AOL about the home tail amputation thing about 3 months ago..... at that time I told the original poster to "have the vet do it" If Feo's tail had been injured into the thick , fleshy part of the tail I would have never been able to do it. I would have definately had the vet do it....just because I have heard of people cutting at the wrong part..not in *between* the vertebrae and it not turning out so well...where the tail does not regenerate. If Feo's tail does not regenerate that's ok with me I just didn't want that bent and broken part to get infected. Feo was a very good patient!
