I come from the Midwest orginally and we didn't have collard greens to my knowledge either...but here in the southern states, it's like apple pie!!! It be a southernnnnn thing! The stores here carry it year round. You might want to ask the produce department there if they can start carrying it; sometimes they will if you're a regular customer.
