Hi Vern, have you looked around a variety of grocery stores? I have found them at a number of stores here (Ontario, Canada) I'm not sure they are grown locally but I would assume if they were here that they shouldn't be hard to find in California. Try some different stores around you. I recently moved and have found that the stores in my new area don't carry as many of the veggies Boris likes, so i take a trip once every couple of weeks to my old neighbourhood store to pick up some of his favs.
: I can't find Parsnip in Southern California. I have substituted sweet potato instead. But my iguana will only eat it if I cook it partial or fully cooked, is this wrong? What can I substituted for parsnip, because I hear its high in very calcium? Thanks
