The main concern I see is the pressure treated wood. There have recently been concerns surfacing regarding human children who play in/on/around PT playgrounds absorbing chemicals from the wood. Off the top of my head, I forget exactly what the concern was for but you may want to look into it more closely and, depending on what you find, either re-think the PT or see if there is a safe way to seal the wood i.e. polyurethane, lacquer, etc. just in case Iggy starts licking/chewing/tearing at it for some reason. I would think that stock wood with a few coats of poly on it would stand up to weathering for a good while as well. PVC pipe may/may not be an option for your framework also.
Dimensions sound excellent. As you are planning, make sure that he has plenty of shade and water. You may even want to incorporate some sort of misting system.
You may want to figure out a way to enclose the bottom as well. Digging COULD be an issue. Next thing you know, you've got Steve McQueen riding motorcycles all over your back yard, Nazi's chasing him, James Garner crashing planes into your garage, and Iggy digging tunnels and dodging spotlights in order to make it to Switzerland..... ;)~
