I was told that every few months you need to clean the humidifier tank. this can be accomplished by swishing some white vinegar around in there with some water, and rinsing WELL before you use it again. That should take care of any unpleasant odors that might be building up in there. And unless anyone here knows why this shouldn't be done...I really like the idea of scenting the water with an herbal tea bag. Can you all think of any reason why this might ot bea a good idea? If so, let me know....Thanks!
