: Feeling frustrated? This week alone, Virginia Reptile Adoptions is in need of homes for 6 iguanas, ranging from young to a 6 foot male.
: Good luck trying to find your ig friends homes. Lord knows we'll need some luck too.
: Take care.

There's one place by me called iguana den that may be able to help, but I figured I'd try anything. I usually am not on this forum 'cause I've owned about everything BUT an iguana. I've cared for my friends' igs though. The New York Herp Society is constantly trying to find homes for igs and the Bronx Zoo specifically says on its answering machine that it can't accept donations of igs, sliders or burmese pythons. God forbid anyone around here just lets one loose. In NY, such things are more likely to cause a scandal than in the south or west, 'cause all these soft city slickers don't know what to do with a piece of nature staring them in the face. THe closest most of these people get to nature is the Central park zoo, the discover channel or a flock of park pigeons!
