Shemp,you do need to start handling your baby now the sooner the better.Try taking him out in the early evening before bedtime and try putting one of your old t-shirts in his cage too.Whn you do handle him,,wear the shirt you had on 2-3 times when you hold him,his scent will be on the shirt youre wearing and the shirt in his cage will have your scent.He'll get use to you faster and your scent won't represent a treat to him.Good luck and be patient with the little guy.Talk softly while holding him and I always rock our kids too.
