multivitamin supplement once a week
calcium supplement(please get the better phosphorus free calciums like Citrical WITHOUT D3 at drug store about $13.oo for 200 tabs or Tums Ultra about $8.00 for 200 tabs he might like the tropical fruit flavored one get it at a grocery store or drug store). After crushed and put in any spice or old salt shaker shaker it will/should last approximately 8months maybe...since you'll be supplementing with calcium more frequently.
Supplement with calcium EVERYDAY since you have a baby.
He CANNOT get enough calcium from its food because of all the junk in it like oxalates, phytates and phosphorus and he CANNOT get enough calcium from like a centrum or multivitamin with calcium or reptile vitamins because most are loaded with phosphates; contain high amounts phosphorus, which cancels calcium OUT basically.
Sprinkle these supplements on its salad as you would salt your food.
If you are giving frozen foods for more than a few days..you might want to add a good thiamine source or supplement with Thiamine or Brewers yeast....good thiamine sources in foods are Total cereal, squash particularly acorn squash, watermelon, any of the better breads..cracked wheat, pumpernickel, rye...white rice (also high in phosphorus but if using Tums ultra no need to worry as Tums has phospahte binders), also oranges are a good source of added thiamine and calcium. Do an archive search here on Brewers Yeast...not sure how much was recommended (can't find my notes on how much)...better to get the brewers yeast WITHOUT garlic (for dogs)... my igs didn't care for it.
Good luck Stormn hope this helps :o)
