Yes...most definitely add supplement to the diet. Young iguanas need more calcium and vitamins then when they get older. I feed my older iguanas at least once a week with added supplies. With a young iguana, at least once every other day a supplement should be added.
I might add, if your iguana is a female, you should continue with the supplement supplies even as she gets older, due to possible developement of eggs. I would, in my opinion, feed a female additives two to three times a week as a adult.
