Lola's heater is 150 watts hanging about 14' above the shelf. Also as far as the wire on the cage, I need to say this, Lola is very tame.....but if you don't have a ig that is, I would NOT use wire. A restless iguana WILL wear is nose raw on metal wiring. Now as far as the climbing items go, I have found a tree branch and cut it to size for Lola's cage. It comes up just below the shelf areas and then splits into three secondary branches. This gives her access to both shelf areas without climbing on the side of the cage. The back of the cage is solid wood (no wire), I used heavy paneling for the back.
Another thing about the cage is it's on wheels. I put a set of heavy-duty ball bearing wheels on each corner, so I can wheel the cage around.
Guess I need to get a picture of my cage and put it online so people can see what I am talking about.
