a schizo ig...lmao...they sure are! Taming takes about 9-12 months...given consistency,patience,and time. Its tuff to trust something that is way bigger than you are and an ugly weird looking monster (that's what my two igs say) they are terribly afraid you are going to cook them and eat them..like they did to their uncles and aunties in Guatemala...lol Its true they do...one of my neighbors is constantly asking me if I want to throw my iguanas on his BBQ when he's out there BBQ-n He's from Mexico...lol Anyway....Here's a couple of taming sites...Jen Swofford has some good taming techniques too. If after your done with these sites & taming techniques I'll share some of my own...lol they aren't mentioned at any of these sites...lol and NO they don't involve electro-shock therapy...but that is something I may be looking into in the near future ;o)
