calcium to reach a Ca:P of 3.
As I didnt have pure calcium but calcium lactate that
only contains 17% pure calcium I must add as many as
15 teaspoons of powder to boost Ca:P to 3.

I then realized that I never gave my iguanas so much
calcium previous to the calculation but they were still
OK .....except that Rex had a very small tendency on
one side of her jaw towards having a overbite.
That I take as a sign that the calcium level I gave them
maybe a little low for a while.

Older iguanas are recommended to be given less calcium
they younger ones. Your iguana is still not full grown.

If you give your iguana a little bit too much calcium it will
be flushed out. All books say this.

According to my observations I actually believe one can see
when the iguana defecate how much calcium she is given.
You know this white stuff. The more calcium I add the more
white stuff comes out. Have someone else an opinion on this ?.
