I must say I've seen this too. Sometimes when I leave Rex in the bath tub
and later returns she is sometimes sleeping. One time she was actually
completely submerged !. She has also been half-submerged a couple of
times.

I know one should be careful with leaving the iguana alone in the tub
but I am never far away and I always check whats she doing every 5 minutes.
The water is also not so deep.

Liz is too big, when I leave her alone in the tub she will climb out
by herself within a minute or two.

Or maybe they are not sleeping...they may pretend they are at some other
dry place. Who knows !?
