How about if you spray them every day? Zig loves to be sprayed and he licks up the droplets. Also helps humidity. Just don't do it just before or after the lights go out.

I for one don't likr to clean poop out of water bowls every day. Zig do-doos on a newspaper covered with paper towels in the same place all the time.

: They do get most of their water from their food but need water in their cage if for nothing else than for the humidity and to drink from.You need a big bowl so they don't tip it over.Hope that helps
