Hi Scott,
I believe that the reason they both do that is
because they were stuck in that tiny cage before
you got them. They had to get use to sitting in
their own feces. Now they are use to it.
Try take them outside first thing in the morning
, then again at noon and then towards the end
of the day. They should releave them selfselves
when they are outside under the sun. In time they
should get use to not pooping where they are sleeping.
