Nothing is a stupid question!!!! As far as the water dish.....try moving it to a different location. your ig might just like that spot for sleeping. If it happens after that.....post again someone will come up with something if they don't post on the first one. But I'd be willing to say....your iguana will sleep where the water dish USE TO BE and NOT follow it to where you put it. I say this, because I moved Harry's cage around and he likes sleeping on the left side of his cage on a shelf, well now there is a piece of wood there and guess what.....he sleeps on it now; but it's still the same spot.
