Cleo is back in her basking spot, thanks to my hero...Kevin!!
We called the tree people, and one wanted 150 bucks, the other wanted 75.
we tried to spray her gently with water from the hose, but she was too high, and I think she actually enjoyed the misting she got. But it made her go higher.
I tried tempting her with hibiscus & salad, but she was enjoying her freedom. Enjoying looking down on us perplexed humans!
(yes, I stood in my front yard holding her plate up over my head pleading with her to come down!)
The only way we could get her down was to cut a major tree limb off the tree. I would not suggest this, unless you can be extra careful. She just happened to be on the branch that landed last, so all the other limbs & branches cushioned her.
We only cut through about half the limb, so it could crack and fall gently on it's own. It still fell too fast for my liking, but Cleo came out unharmed!
I got a load of attitude when I brought her back inside. I think now I have seen the shudder bob! Bottom line, I ruined her fun!I almost feel guilty for spoiling her freedom.
Thanks to all of you who E-mailed your support! Thanks Joan for the lost ig poster!!
I guess I'll close for now!
I think Cleo just wants to make sure I have something to talk about on chat night!!
