NO NO NO to coconut...super high in fact one of the highest saturated fat contents..of any plant..but if you would make me a coconut cream pie...I'd be glad to test that theory for you.lol

Radishes: ok.. maybe 1:1 CA: P ratio...so prolly good smell & tasty for em

catnip?......hmmm dunno..check contents for additives or perservatives...and if you have a democratic ig tell him its ok if he doesn't inhale

RE: where are we getting the info on food?
Melissa Kaplans site of course!!! and a few others...but at MKs site she has (with the blue thing that I STILL cannot master) the link to the USDA nutrient DATABASE that lists everything....I posted that ...that is one reference that needs to be on the websites we (I) frequent. Things this site DO NOT tell you is if foods are goitrogenic, high purine, high oxylates, high phytates. You gotta find that stuff at other sites, reference material...like a nutrition book (current) there are SO many studies coming out on nutrition and data changes all the time...so please take information with a grain of salt.
K
Here ya go for the Nutrient Database:

www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/cgi-bin/nut_search.pl

Lemme try the blue thing AGAIN too...lol but there ya have it if ya need it. You can plug in cereal bars or Total cereal or Pop Tarts or any plant you'd like...and get fiber, calcium, phosporus tons vitamin& mineral contents...of anything PLANT in use or edible by humans. For cactus you need to plug in nopales. Prepare for lots of "hiccups" or for it to spit out your search...for example...Thompson seedless grapes:
will spit it out...plug in grapes ...will list them all! select which one. and how much...example 1 small grape or 1 cup of grapes and it will give you the contents. Only check one box tho! (less confusing for you!) Do NOT forget about those lacking things I told ya about above so Caveat emptor on your journey! :o)

Is this making ANY sense?........lol
Good luck have fun!

Gina
