Hi !
This sounds very strange to me.
From what I know,
an normal iguana in a dark/halfdark and silent room should
sleep without any problem. A matter of fact they do not want
to do anything else than sleep.
Are you keeping your iguana in a silent and dark room at night ?.
Does it have a safe, comfy place to sleep ?.
The only thing I can think of breaking the sleeping pattern is when the iguana
is in breeding season. But I did not see this myself with my two females. They
always sleep when lights goes out/the sun settles.
