Well the first time was from bashing it. Since then it hasn't healed right. This last time it became infected because he was rubbing it on everything. And when I say everything: wall, carpet, heating pad, pillows, bedding, bed, astro turf on his shelf. The sore is in a really rotten spot. It is around one of his nostrals. The vet is doing everyhing that she can. The sore is in just plain rotten spot. If she could have just cut it off so it would have drained correctly the first time, I am sure that it would have healed. But how do you cut off his nostral? Poor thing, now his nose looks like hamberger. He must be very uncomfortable because he had a hard time setteling down last night. He also hasn't eaten anything. I know that it is only one day, but he is usually better. I am going to get some melon after work and see if I can get him to eat at least that. I am also going to look into getting a ceramic light tonight. I want to heat up his surrounding night time temps.
