Tell you what I will do, you talk to as many breeders that you know, and get them to agree to stop breeding iguanas for the next four years; and I will beat the pavement on every Pet store locally and nation wide to stop carrying iguana's. I'll get a team of iguana rescue groups together and we'll start hitting the pet stores in full force in person or by mail ( to corporations, like PetSmart) I will also track down as many Iguana farms as I can and hit them too. But I am asking you to meet me halfway on this. I will do more then what is my responsiblity.....I"m asking you to do the same. If in 4 years there is no or little change......do as you want, I will admit I was wrong. But we ( rescue groups ) can not stop this without U.S. Breeders helping. Breeders like yourself, must be willing to help by putting a hold on breeding iguanas. Give us a chance to catch up and get a strong foot hold on the problem before you go back to producing more iguanas. I'm asking personally for your help. Give me just 4 years.
