I've got it off "warn" and it is sooo much more pleasant around this forum right now!

It's e-mail attachments that you have to watch out for.....and it doesn't have to be stranger-danger! Some of you I mailed about this already. But I have an online friend that I've corresponded with I guess for 14 months now. One night I got 2 e-mails from him with the same subject line on each. However, one of them had an attachment and no message. It was this mail that had the happy99 virus attachment. Long story short: he had no idea he had the virus; had no idea that every time he had sent mail since being infected he was sending a "duplicate" mail with the virus attached to it....and he had only opened mail & attachments from people he knew! Luckily for me someone else I correspond with had suffered thru this already and warned me. I had put my virus protector back on active monitor and this saved the day.

So to all the fellow-worry warts: It pays to not let your guard down!
