Sorry! Our plate is full with what we are involved in locally (2 herp societies, reptile rescue and NIAD). You have to understand that on the show's website, they listed the seminars. Based on that information we drove out-of-state to hear and hopefully, learn from them. This was not the case.
If you dined in a resturant and didn't care for the meal, would you offer to go into the kitchen and cook for them? Nope.
Now, don't get us wrong, other than the lectures and the $4 and $5 igs, the show was "okay". Except for one cage we saw, the reptiles all looked healthy and the set ups clean. If you knew what you wanted in advance (reptile), you could probably find it there and at a fair price.
My problem is what they advertised is not what they delivered. As for the inexpensive igs, sitting next to the $5 plastic containers, mixed with a flea market that was also going on at the fairgrounds, that spell "impluse buying" for someone who probably does not have a clue to what is involved in the care of igs. Also, we did not see a table for any reptile rescue groups or NIAD. Makes you wonder?
Sue
