Kitty....The Green Iguana Forum at AOL has simply become Melissa Kaplans Forum. Everyone USED TO share all kinds of information, anecdotes, good time stories and bad..similar to this forum..scroll down at some of the posts several months back before Melissa recovered and returned to the Green Iguana Forum as Monitor. Everything changed...no one had anything substantial to say.....everyone began to wait for Melissa's reply because we all got shot down for anything we posted that conflicted with her. Take a look at the postings one week after she got back.That room has changed so dramatically in the few months that she's been back.That used to be one great forum to discuss Iguanas & their care...I miss it alot.But I'll tell ya...NON-aolers CAN try the hometown address and there is a ton of info & sites about iguanas...here's the site...ok

and voila...bunches & bunches of iguana goodies. I especially like their sites on cage design...and then theres Lola & Harrys site of course ;-) and Allen "the Iguana Man" site..which is terrific!

: I just got a email from the staff there and they said it's impossible for non-AOLers to reach the iguana board there. I would say this much, other then Melissa Kaplan being there, I ( my opinion only) think that our board here is just as good.........if not better!!! I know one thing.....it's more active here then at the AOL one.

: I like this board better than the AOL one. On the AOL one, people aren't as friendly or don't help out if they don't know the answer. On this one, if none of us know the answer, we guide the question-asker to a place where mebbe they CAN find the answer. Also, people respond to posts within minutes instead of days or hours.
: My favourite thing about this board is how friendly we all are, and no one throws a temper tantrum when someone talks about how cute their iguana is. And everyone is entertained by lovely poop stories. Hehehee
