one thing that will help reduce the stress of a too-small enclosure til you can get a bigger one, is to let him out on a daily basis ... that will give him a chance to get some more exercise and burn off some of his agressiveness and stress ... even if all he does is find a nice nap place when he's out of his enclosure, it will still reduce some stress ... (be *sure* to supervise him when he's out!!!!)

as far as ig-bites ... YES! they do have the *potential* to do *alot* of damage to human skin!!! (have you looked in your ig's mouth?) they have many, many tiny razor sharp teeth, combined with apowerful jaw! but *i* still truly believe that an ig *will* warn you 1st and that the horror story injuries are more the human's fault because they didn't heed an ig's warning!

you *have* to learn to read your ig's behavior because they *are* capable of telling you how they feel! (hint: an open mouth hiss means *back* away slowly!!!) this includes remembering that the ig was in a bad mood *last* night and may *still* be in one this morning ... (sometimes that *is* the warning ...) ... it means being extra watchful (+ calming!) during potentially stressful situations like a trip to the vet ... was holding iZ on my shoulder once so the vet could get a tail-blood sample and iZ reached up and i *thought* rubbed my cheek ... the vet looks up a bit later and sez "oh my, are you *ok*?!? there's blood running down your face!" ... that soft little graze was with his teeth and i didn't even *feel* it cuz they're so sharp! (it was *just* scratches but it bled like a b*&4@!!!) never did get iZ's blood tests that day ... freaked the vet out more than me ... LOL!

dandelions + head rubs for your ig and good luck with your move! (i **hate** moving!!!)
