truthfully, i was feeling weird that i kept it for a few hours and was afraid hubby + son would laugh at me if i'd saved it ... didn't have any formadehyde at home either (hehe) ... it dried up pretty quick tho ...

for future reference tho ... it pretty much looked *just like* a hemipenes when it 1st came out ... (may you all be blessed with the sight of one some day!) it was about an inch long, about 1/4" wide and *pink* ... (actually, hemipenes have a more purplish hue to 'em now that i think about it) ...

very translucent, you could see thru it and tell there were no veins or anything like that ...

it was *not* squishy like i expected (hey, i *had* to pick it up right!?) ... did *not* feel like picking up tissue/flesh ... it was firmer
+ you could tell it was *not* something that had been connected a few minutes before ...
