KIWI, male iguana, approx. 3yrs old

dear baby herp, debbie, cirsis & sue and iZ + Mom! thank you so much for answering my plea for help....dearest iZ + Mom, your message really moved me..you treat and love iZ just like i love and treat kiwi.so totally cool i thought i would have to love him silently, finding this place is like finding utopia...I have a question about his sleeping habits, sometimes he will disappear into the top shelf in the closet and sleep for 2 to 3 days? He appears to be energized when he comes out, so i let him do his thing.i rub him down with a little bit of avacado oil because he has a hard time shedding..is this ok don't want to hurt him.also how often do you clip their nails, i do it myself..he seems to have very long claws naturally.i am from rhode island where are you (all) from???it took me a long time to answer because i thought that i was going to get e-mail i am new to all this computer stuff, i don't know what a link url; but when i started to skroll down today WOW there it was mail, answers --PEOPLE WHO CARE-- thank you thankyou so much PeAcE and LoVe JaNiCe and KiWi PLEASE WRITE BACK WITH ALL YOUR GREAT ADVICE and Stories. Oh yes, to Cirsis guess what?When Kiwi and I first met he used to chase me too aahhahaaaahhh!! ha ha..but i taught him not too..i hope i can acclimate him to the outside and a leash..bye for now.
