Yes you can trim the iguana's nails. But you have to be careful not to trim too much because there is a vein that you do not want to cut. If you know anyone who can show you how to do this it would be the best way to learn. It took me months to try because I was so paranoid, but now it seems I am constantly trimming the nails of my 6 iguanas (or having my arms and hands scratched up).
