Male iguanas are highly territorial, that is a fact. Some are more so than others, and some exibit different dominance/submission displays than simple aggression. Males can be housed together if given enough room, like a whole yard.
There are at least 3 adult males housed in the iguana enclosure here at the San Diego Zoo. Even with a 300 sq ft yard, the males still manage to beat on each other because of the females in the area. Of coarse you will always find stories of males sometimes getting along with each other, but these are rare, and certainly not the rule. So to avoid stress, and possible injury to the animals, i would suggest not housing adult male iggys together.
