AAAAHHHHH, back home again!!
Last night, I posted in a bit of a hurry...since it was the first time for me to get back on-line in almost a week!
I cannot believe this happened!Just a FEW minutes before last weeks chat...not to mention I missed Cleo's web site debut...y'all got to see it before me :oP
It all began when my son grabbed the computer chair...I had everything set up...I was just a little early, so I didn't go into the chat room...well, he typed in an address to a video game hint site, and lo and behold...
HE got flashed...and it wasn't no little whispered invitation to view somebodies hot pics, either! Right there, in living color...in my house...my ten year old got flashed by pics of almost naked women! Talk about your need to vent!
Anyway...first we had to figure out how this had happened...grill the kid, if ya know what I mean...then of course, my husband, being the good protective father that he is...had to, RIGHT THEN, set up the internet security thingy>
Ya know, the thing that requires a password to view any page that has not been rated. Then of course... you guessed it...HE FORGOT THE PASSWORD>>>AND NO, he did not write it down! We have treid every which way we could think of to find that password,
we even tried to type in the word he THOUGHT it was 1500 different ways. (ya know, ya have to spell the password TWICE to confirm it?!)
Anyway, to make a long story short...we no longer use microsoft explorer...we are netscape navigators now...and if you were wondering about the effectiveness of an internet security system, I can tell you, by experience...THEY WORK QUITE WELL!
NOBODY will get on-line without that password! I couldn't even E-mail, or get my mail. (I guess you figured out, I have been a little hard to live with, this past week!)
Cleo & I are OK, now....we're back on line....back to normal (well, almost normal...netscape is alot different!)
I hope you all went to look at our pics...and don't forget to tell Skinny & Juby what a super job they did!
Don't forget to sign the guest book!!
